• The Oakland Raiders are a professional football team that plays in the West division of the AFC in the National Football League. The team was founded in 1960 as part of the American Football League . They won their first championship in the AFL in 1967. Since the franchise joined the NFL in 1970, they have won the Super Bowl three times, most recently in 1983.
