No Country for Old Men is the film adaptation of the bestselling novel by Cormac McCarthy. A hunter stumbles on a drug deal gone wrong, and takes off with ill-gotten gains -- a fateful decision that sets off a harrowing chain of events. The Best Picture Oscar was awarded to this film at the Academy Awards on February 24, 2008. Javier Bardem won the 2008 Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the film, and Joel and Ethan Coen won the Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay Oscars.
