Nicolas Sarkozy is the President of France and French co-prince of Andorra. He was elected to office on May 6, 2007.
On February 26, 2009, Sarkozy and three of his colleagues in the French government were mailed anonymous death threats. The two-page letters, which refer to the government's efforts to stamp out freedom and establish "fascist laws," arrived with bullets stuffed in the envelopes.Huffington Post: Sarkozy Death Threat: Bullet Mailed to French President (March 3, 2009) Though the form letters mention a total of 10 politicians by name, thus far only Sarkozy and three others - Justice Minister Rachida Dati, Culture Minister Christine Albanel and Interior Minister Michele Alliot-Marie - have actually received them.
