Nia Long is an American actress and music video director. Long's first major role came in the soap opera Guiding Light, where she portrayed Kathryn "Kat" Speakes. From there she went on to portray Beulah "Lisa" Wilkes, Will Smith's fiancee on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. She most recently could be seen on the ABC television show Big Shots. Its last episode aired on January 24, 2008.
Long's other television acting credits include Boston Legal, Third Watch and Judging Amy. Her film credits include Premonition, Boyz in the Hood, Made in America, Friday, Love Jones, Soul Food, Stigmata, Are We There Yet? and Big Momma's House.
