Football Career
Jackson began his career playing college football at Menlo College in California. During his four years at Menlo, he recorded 43 touchdowns, 261 receptions and 3,976 yards. Following college, Jackson went undrafted and signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2002. He was waived prior to the season and did not play that year. In 2003, Jackson was traded to the Denver Broncos, where he spent the season primarily on their practice squad, joining the team for one game in December. He played in 12 games with the Broncos in 2004, recording eight receptions for 73 yards. Jackson was sidelined in 2005 with a hamstring injury, returned to the team in 2006, then was out again in 2007 with a groin injury.Categories
