Mike Scioscia is a former player, and is the current Manager for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
On January 5, 2009, the Angels announced a contract extension that will make Scioscia the manager of the Angels through the 2018 season. It's something we've worked on for some time, and basically we got it done. It's an agreement in principle, and we're not going to release the terms. We never release the terms of contracts. I'll just say we're looking forward to having him here for a while."MLB.com: Scioscia to get extension from Angels (January 5, 2009)
