• Brief Background

  Mallika Sherawat is a Bollywood actress who first gained recognition for her appearance in the music video Lak Tunoo. She then made a splash on the big screen with her role in the 2003 film Khwahish.

  She has recently begun to do acting work in the Tamil film industry and has also starred in a Chinese movie with Jackie Chan called The Myth.

  Her performance in Pyar Ke Side Effects made audiences take notice of her in a different way than before, and 2007's Welcome was a blockbuster success. She is currently among the top paid actresses in Bollywood.
