Malcolm Kelly is a football player who played wide receiver for the Oklahoma Sooners from 2005 to 2008.
High School Career
Kelly grew up in Longview Longview, Texas attending Longwood High School. He caught a combined 56 passes for 1464 yards and 15 touchdowns during his junior and senior years. That earned Kelly First Team All State honors for both seasons. He was named sixth best wide receiver in the nation coming out of high school by Rivals.com and Scout.com.Three Seasons At Oklahoma
Kelly started as a freshman at University of Oklahoma leading the Oklahoma Sooners in receptions and yards, earning him honors as All Big 12 Conference Freshman Team and The Sporting News Freshman All American Team honorable mention. During the 2006 season in a game against Missouri Tigers Football he became the fastest player in Sooners history to reach 1,000 career receiving yards. Kelly's efforts helped the Sooners reach the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. Kelly finished his collegiate career with 144 catches for 2,285 yards and 21 touchdowns.Working Out For The Pros
Kelly missed the National Football League combine due to injury but participated in Pro day. He ran the 40 yard dash in 4.75 and 4.68 seconds, which was disappointing to him so he blamed the change of venue and turf for his times. He bench pressed 225 pounds 14 times and caught 21 of 22 passes thrown to him by Eric Crouch.- Born: December 30, 1986
