MAKE Magazine is a quarterly publication dedicated to do-it-yourself home projects, often featuring computers or electronics. It is published by the technology-focused O'Reilly Media company. In January 2009, MAKE branched out and began broadcasting their unique ideas through public television stations across the United States. Maker Faire
The Maker Faire is an annual event, sponsored by MAKE, at which readers can participate in competitions, perform live demonstrations and display their DIY projects. The first event was held on April 22–23, 2006, in San Mateo, California.
