• Leslie Bibb is an American actress and model who got her big break by playing Brooke McQueen on the hit teen series Popular. Bibb has had a number of guest star and recurring roles on such shows as ER and Crossing Jordan.

  Her latest big screen endeavor is the novel based movie, Confessions of a Shopaholic. The film premieres on February 13, 2009 in U.S. theaters.

• Early Life

  Bibb's father passed away when she was only three, which led to the family's uprooting from North Dakota to Virginia where she attended an all girls Catholic high school. At the age of 16 she won a model search hosted on The Oprah Winfrey Show and signed a contract with Elite Modeling Agency. Although she attended the University of Virginia, she eventually dropped out of school, to move to New York City, to continue modeling full time. Her first film role was in Private Parts, but it wasn't until 1999 that Bibb landed a major success as a series regular on the hit series Popular.
