  Whitehouse.com (not an official government site) offered to pay Sinclair $10,000 to take a polygraph test and an additional $100,000 if he passed. Sinclair agreed to the terms and took the test on February 25, 2008.   Sinclair repeated his claims at the National Press Club on June 18, 2008. Asked whether he was receiving money from anyone connected with the Republican Party, Sinclair said, "I am not connected with any party... nor are any parties contributing to the cost or the expense of this."
