• Affairs Scandal

  In late June 2008 reports began to surface that Logan was involved with two men while reporting from Iraq. According to reports, the two men actually confronted each other at one point and had a fight in Baghdad. One has been identified as Michael Ware, a CNN correspondent. • Daring Interview

  In an unprecedented interview with one of America's top antagonists in Afghanistan, Logan spoke with warlord Gulbeddin Hekmatyar at his secret mountain hideout. The interview aired on CBS News, June 17, 2008. According to Logan's report, Hekmatyar has attacked U.S. forces since the onset of the 2001 Afghan invasion, but has eluded concerted efforts to capture him.
