• More than just a Model

  Ireland began modeling at the age of 17 and quickly appeared on the covers of numerous magazines and in print advertising campaigns. 1984 marked the first of twelve appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She segued into acting, appearing in such films as Mr. Destiny and Necessary Roughness, and television series such as Melrose Place, Suddenly Susan and Touched by an Angel. In 1993, she launched her own incorporated company, which grew into a billion dollar a year enterprise. Products from her company include flooring, rugs, home furniture, domestic products, jewelry and a clothing line.
