• John Madden is a former NFL head coach for the Oakland Raiders, broadcaster and analyst for Sunday Night Football on NBC. Madden has endorsed the popular EA Sports video game series Madden NFL since 1988. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

    On April 16, 2009, Madden announced his retirement from broadcasting. He stated "It's time. I'm 73 years old. My 50th wedding anniversary is this fall... It's been such a great ride... the NFL has been my life for more than 40 years, it has been my passion--it still is...
