Career
In 1974, she joined them and quickly stood out, catching the media and critic's attention. Her self-titled debut solo album was released in 1982, achieving moderate success. Four years later, she changed producers and released some of her most popular hits such as "Rhythm Nation," "Nasty," "What Have You Done for Me Lately" and "The Pleasure Principle."
