  When reached for comment on his cell phone, Thomas claimed that his daughter was the one rushed to the hospital.   On October 28, 2008, new details emerged about the incident. Reportedly the officers arrived at the scene to find a 47 year old man unconscious. Police gave the person oxygen until an ambulance arrived. The incident was not labeled a suicide attempt because no note was found and the person did not have a history of depression.
