Holly Valance is an Australian actress, singer and model who began acting in television and film in the United States in 2004. Both her parents were fashion models and her father is a pianist and guitarist. Vance began a modeling career at age 12 when she discovered she was too young legally to get a job at McDonalds. Vance had to find some other way of earning money. Never really passionate about modeling but quite successful, she continued until the age of 15 when an opportunity arose to audition for the Australian soap Neighbours.
