After graduating from high school in 1998, she had several supporting roles, including Nadine in Drugstore Cowboy and Annie in the second season of Twin Peaks. Though she had found mild success as a working actress, Graham spent much of her time taking extension courses at UCLA until actor James Woods convinced her to become a full-time actress. She was cast in Woods' film Diggstown and went on to have successful turns in Swingers and The Spy Who Shagged Me.
