  • How are Grammy Nominees Selected?

    Artists are submitted to the Recording Academy by members or record company's to be considered for nomination for a Grammy Award. A panel of 150 experts in the music field discuss the entries and place them in the proper category. The entries are then sent to all the voting members of the Recording Academy where each member may only vote in the category they are experts in. After the list is narrowed in a final vote, the results are counted and shown live on the awards show.
