Male circumcision involves the removal of the foreskin on the penis. Foreskin restoration is the process of either surgically or non-surgically replacing or regrowing the foreskin on circumcised men.
The surgical methods of foreskin restoration involve grafting the skin, and is more congruent with the idea of reconstruction than restoration. The foreskin can also be restored through non-surgical means, by stretching the penis to stimulate new skin growth.

- Foreskin Size: If unfolded would be the size of a 4"x5" index card. The foreskin comprises roughly 50% (and sometimes more) of the mobile skin system of the penis. If unfolded and spread out flat, the average adult foreskin would measure about 15 square inches - the size of a three-by-five index card. This highly specialized tissue normally covers the glans and protects it from abrasion, drying, callusing (also called keratinization), and contaminants of all kinds.
