Career Highlights
Balk began her career as a child actor, starring as Dorothy in the 1985 film Return to Oz. She had several other television and film roles growing up before starring as a main character in the 1996 movie The Craft. Balk won a MTV Movie Awards|MTV Movie Award for Best Fight in 1997 for her role in The Craft. Balk went on to appear in American History X and The Waterboy, both in 1998. In 2000 she appeared as Sapphire in the comedy/drama film Almost Famous. She also did voice acting work in the video game Vice City. More recently Balk had a role in Humboldt County and stars in the 2008 film Grindstone Road.Quotes
