  • Wrestling Career

After becoming WCW Executive Vice President (and later President), Bischoff successfully turned the fortunes of the organization around by signing Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Lex Luger and other top stars from the WWE. He then established WCW Nitro, a Monday night wrestling program to go head-to-head with WWE's show Raw.

With the signing of Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, Bischoff masterminded the nWo (New World Order) storyline that helped WCW beat the WWE in the ratings until 1998. When WCW's parent company, Time Warner, forced Bischoff to keep the organization family-friendly instead of competing with WWE's edgier style, WCW saw a drop in ratings, and was eventually bought out by the WWE in 2001.

Bischoff appeared in the WWE as the "General Manager" of Raw, but was "fired" (as part of a storyline) by Vince McMahon in 2005. Despite a few occasional appearances on WWE programming, Bischoff has focussed on other television production endeavors.

  • Production Career

Bischoff and Jason Hervey run their own company, which has produced several reality shows, including I Want To Be a Hilton and Scott Biao is 45...and Single.
