• Career Background

  Blunt's first major role was in the theatrical production Bliss at the 2000 Edinburgh Festival. She then starred in a series of productions for British television, including Boudica and Henry VIII.

  Her feature film debut came in 2004's My Summer of Love, for which she won a British Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer.
