• History

  The first recorded attempt to create a digital camera came in 1975 by an associate at Kodak. The idea was again revisited in the 1980s, when the first megapixel sensor was developed in 1986. Two years later, Fujifilm released the first digital camera, the DS-1P. Other manufacturers have developed their own models in the years since, with an increased number of megapixels and features at a decreased cost.
