• Cornell Green is a professional football offensive lineman who plays for the Oakland Raiders in the National Football League.

    Green was arrested in Tampa, Florida, on March 21, 2009, on charges of domestic battery. Police allege that Green hit Teriyonal Flowers, the mother of two of his children, with an aluminum mop handle earlier in the day.   • College Football Career

    Prior to playing in the NFL, Green played college football with the Central Florida Golden Knights in the NCAA. He played at both left and right tackle, starting in 11 games in each of his final three seasons with the team. Green was selected as the Golden Knights' outstanding offensive lineman three years in a row as well. After college, Green went unselected in the 1999 NFL draft.
  • NFL Career

    Green joined the NFL by signing as a free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in 1999, playing exclusively on their practice squad that season. He was then waived and picked up by the New York Jets, with whom he made his NFL debut in 2000. The following year he was waived again, this time going to the Miami Dolphins.

    In 2002, Green was traded from the Miami Dolphins to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and helped the Buccaneers win the Super Bowl in 2003. He spent the 2004 and 2005 seasons with the Denver Broncos, then returned to the Buccaneers in 2006. He entered the free agency in 2007, signing with the Oakland Raiders.
