The event is considered the third most popular in Rio, behind Carnival and New Year's Eve celebrations. The tree remained up until Epiphany on January 6, 2009.WCTV.com (Tallahassee): Lighting of Floating Christmas Tree in Brazil (November 30, 2008)Categories
