  Prior to playing in the NFL, Baker played college football with the Michigan State Spartans in the NCAA. Starting in 47 consecutive games, he set school records for a tight end with 133 receptions, 1,705 yards and 13 touchdowns.   Baker made his professional debut with the Jets in 2002, playing in 12 games.
