Brigham Young University Hawaii (BYU-Hawaii) is located in the town of Laie on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. This school is affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as are its sister schools, Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and BYU Idaho. It was named for the Mormon religious leader Brigham Young. Its athletic teams belong to the Pacific West Conference.
