• What are Birkenstocks?

  A sister company to Birki's, Birkenstocks are a German shoe company founded by Margot Fraser, but originally manufactured by Konrad Birkenstock in 1897. Fraser began importing the sandals to the United States in 1966 and by the late 1990's the unique sandal evolved into many different shapes and colors, but still keeping the original concept of the custom insole.
