• Brief Background

  Bipasha Basu was born in Delhi, India, but her family moved to the city of Kolkata when she was still in her youth.

  She had originally intended to pursue being a doctor or chartered account but was persuaded by a friend to enter into a model contest which she won. After winning the contest, she embarked on a career in modeling.
