• Anthony Thomas is a NFL player who played for the Buffalo Bills in the 2007 season. Thomas was a high school standout that was recruited to play for the Michigan Wolverines in 1997. He was selected by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft.

  • In the NFL

    Drafted in the second round of the 2001 NFL draft, Thomas made an immediate impact for the Chicago Bears. In his first year, he accumulated 1,100+ yards and seven touchdowns. He was named the NFL's 2001 Rookie of the Year. He spent four seasons with the Bears before signing to back up Julius Jones in Dallas. In 2006, he signed with the Buffalo Bills, but was released in February of 2008.
