The Texas born brunette started her career as a successful fashion model with appearances in Elle, Esquire and Cosmopolitan magazine.

Her acting career started with a guest role on the hit television show Baywatch and later was the star of the spin-off show Baywatch Nights.

Her breakthrough role came as the character of Abbie Carmichael on the hit televison show Law & Order, where she starred on the popular drama for four seasons.

She has since appeared in several motion pictures such as Agent Cody Banks, Fun with Dick and Jane starring Jim Carrey and Seraphim Falls with Liam Neeson.

In 2007, she was the star of the television show Women's Murder Club, which has enjoyed modest success and returned for it's second season in 2008.
