In a vote of 14-2, five year old Alex Barton was voted out of his kindergarten classroom in a 'game' inspired by the television show Survivor, led by his Morningside Elementary school teacher Wendy Portillo.
The teacher allowed the students to tell the class what they did not like about Alex, and then they were instructed to vote. Alex then spent the rest of the day in the nurse's office.
The Port St. Lucie, Florida boy is in the process of being diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome, and has been experiencing disciplinary issues at school because of the disability.
Alex's mother Melissa Barton is considering taking legal action.
