• Aerosmith are a Grammy award-winning Rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. Aerosmith were one of the premier Hard Rock bands of the 1970s and have continued to produce hit songs and albums over the past 30 years.

  • Career

    After being noticed by Clive Davis, Aerosmith signed with Columbia Records and released their self-titled debut album in 1973. While the band had moderate succes, it wasn't until 1975's Toys in the Attic that the band gained commercial success and began to be mentioned in the same breath as contemporaries Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones. After a brief down period during the 1980s, Aerosmith returned in full force with the 1989 album Pump, which spawned three top 10 singles, sold 7 million copies, and earned the band their first Grammy. Since that time, Aerosmith has continued to write, record and perform. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
