• Adam Archuleta is a National Football League safety. He spent the first five years of his career with the St. Louis Rams, the team that drafted him in 2001. After the 2005 season, Archuleta signed with the Washington Redskins, making him the highest paid safety in NFL history. After struggling in Washington, Archuleta was traded to the Chicago Bears in March of 2007.

    Adam Archuleta was a walk on for Arizona State University where he played linebacker. He was drafted by the Rams in 2001 and placed at the safety slot. In his first five years with the Rams, Archuleta amassed 347 solo tackles, but was released in 2005 and picked up by the Redskins. Although he was the highest paid safety in the league, Archuleta was released after only one year. He is currently a free agent.
