Volcom is a clothing label founded in 1991 and based out of Costa Mesa, California. Volcom originally started out as Stone Boardwear Inc. founded by by Richard Woolcott and Tucker Hall, and the creator of the Volcom "stone" and legendary surfer Eli Kramer. In April of 2005, the companies name changed to Volcom and became available on the NASDAQ June 29, 2005, as Volcom Inc.
