Voice Stress Analysis (VSA) is a method of lie detecting by measuring the stress responses in a human voice. VSA was used during the Vietnam War but was called the PSE or Psychological Stress Evaluator. The original VSA's were conducted on tape recorder like devices, the updated versions are digital and computer based.
