Vixen is one of the most successful female heavy metal rock bands in history. Formed in 1980 by guitarist Jan Kuehnemund, the band underwent many member changes before finally settling on the lineup of Kuehnemund, Janet Gardner, Roxy Petrucci and Share Pedersen. Even though the original band broke up in 1991, Vixen continued to perform in many different incarnations. In August, 2004, all of the original members reunited for the VH1 special Band Reunited.
