Virtua Fighter 5 is a fighting game developed for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is the most recent entry in the Virtua Fighter series, which began in 1993 when the first arcade version was released. At the AOU Amusement Expo, Sega announced that an updated version Virtua Fighter 5 R was in the works and is expected to be released sometime later in 2008. The new version will introduce new character Jean Kujo and bring back Taka-Arashi.
