The Virginia Tech Hokies are a college baseball team that play in the Atlantic Coast Conference. On March 18, 2008, the New York Yankees played a charity exhibition game against Virginia Tech. Before the game, members of the Yankees visited the memorial for victims of the April 16, 2007 Virginia Tech shooting.
