The Violent Femmes are a Folk-Punk band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who have been writing, recording and touring for over 25 years. They have developed a cult following for their unique brand of Alternative Rock, Country, and Folk - including their signature song "Blister in the Sun", which was recently featured in a Wendy's commercial. While the band hasn't released an album in 8 years, they continue to tour and play shows.
