Ving Rhames is an American Actor who won a Golden Globe in 1998 for Don King: Only in America, an HBO miniseries. He has also starred in such films as the Pulp Fiction, the Mission: Impossible series and Dawn of the Dead.

Life and Career
Ving Rhames grew up in Harlem, Manhattan, New York. His father was an auto mechanic and his mother was a homemaker. He attended the School of Performing Arts for high school and pursued advanced studies in acting at SUNY Purchase and Julliard.
His first big break as an actor came when he played the role of Marcellus Wallace in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. He also appeared as Luther Stickell in Brian De Pama's Mission: Impossible. Both roles earned him a good degree of name and face recognition, and he has received steady work since.
He is set to appear as boxer Sonny Liston in the 2008 film Phantom Punch.
