• NFL Career

  After being drafted by the Chargers in 2005, Vincent Jackson made his debut on October 6 against the Oakland Raiders. Jackson played in all 16 regular-season games in 2006. During that year, he had 27 catches for 453 yards and six touchdowns.

  In 2007, Jackson started every game and increased his receptions and yardage while scoring three touchdowns. Jackson has nine touchdown catches through 2007. He returned as a starting receiving for the Chargers in 2008.Chargers.com: Vincent Jackson

• DUI Arrest

  Jackson was arrested on January 6, 2009 for driving under the influence. Chargers' general manager, A.J. Smith, said Chargers were "disappointed" and "take these issues very seriously", but did not immediately comment further.
