Vincent Gallo is an actor, director, writer, producer and musician who is well known for his outspokenness. He began acting in the late 1980s with small roles in films such as Goodfellas and The House of the Spirits.
He wrote and directed his first film The Gunlover in 1986 but it was not until 1998 with the independent movie Buffalo '66 that he was able to gain any critical acclaim. His second film, The Brown Bunny, which featured graphic sexual content, was not well received by critics and even sparked a well publicized feud between Roger Ebert and Gallo.
