Vince Young

Vince Young is a quarterback that plays for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League. Drafted with the third overall pick of the 2008 NFL Draft, Young has been the starting quarterback for Tennessee every season of his career with the exception of 2008. Young filed a lawsuit in December of 2008 against three Texas men who trademarked the terms "VY" and "INVINCIBLE" in 2006, after Young won the Rose Bowl. NFL Career

Vince Young decided to skip his senior season with the Texas Longhorns to enter the NFL Draft. Young was drafted by the Titans and quickly became the starting quarterback. In his first season, Young started in 13 of the 15 games he played. He threw for 2,199 yards with 12 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Young also had 552 rushing yards (the most for a rookie quarterback) and seven rushing touchdowns which earned him NFL Rookie of the Year honors.http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/Y/YounVi00.htm

In 2007, Young led the Titans to the playoffs with 2,546 yards passing with 9 touchdowns. Despite throwing 17 interceptions, Young rushed for 395 yards and three touchdowns.http://www.titansonline.com/team/players/bio.php?PRKey=324

On September 8, 2008, a search for Vince Young was conducted by police when friends and the Tennessee Titans reported that Young was in a "emotionally down" state, had left his phone at home and could not be reached. In the 2009 season, Young was reinstated as the starting quarterback after the Titans got off to an 0-6 start. He would go onto to guide the team to eight wins in his 10 starts, throwing for 1,879 yards and 10 touchdowns. In 2010, Young started nine games for the Titans, throwing for 1,255 yards and ten touchdowns during that span. He would injure his thumb during a game on November 21, 2010 against the Washington Redskins. After the game, he got into a disagreement with his coach, Jeff Fisher, and walked out on his team. Young was ruled out for the season with a torn tendon in his thumb the next day, and was also not invited to be with the team for the remainder of the season at practices, meetings, or games.http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5843438
