Vince Wilfork was drafted in the first round by the Patriots in 2004. Wilfork played in all 16 regular-season games his rookie season, tallying 42 total tackles and two sacks. Wilfork also won a championship with the Patriots as they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX.

Since joining the Patriots, Wilfork has started in 35 games and played in a total of 45 through 2007. He has recorded 229 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
