Finnish professional ice hockey player Ville Peltonen plays for the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League.

NHL Career
Peltonen was drafted 58th overall in the 1993 NHL Draft by the San Jose Sharks. He made his NHL debut in 1995, but split his first two seasons between the Sharks and their International Hockey League affiliate, the Kansas City Blades, and their American Hockey League affiliate, the Kentucky Thoroughblades. Peltonen played in Sweden during the 1997-98 season before he was traded to the Nashville Predators on June 26, 1998. After two seasons in Nashville, he went back to Europe to play in Finland and Switzerland. On June 15, 2006, Peltonen returned to the NHL by signing with the Florida Panthers.Career Highlights
