• Career Highlights

  Kozlov began his career in the Russian Super League with the HC Dynamo Moscow in 1992. He was then drafted sixth overall in the 1993 NHL Draft by the San Jose Sharks. Kozlov continued to play in Russia for one year after the draft, then made his NHL debut with the Sharks in 1995. A November 13, 1997 trade sent Kozlov to the Florida Panthers, where he played for nearly seven years. He was then traded late in the 2003-04 season to the New Jersey Devils. Kozlov completed the 2005-06 season in New Jersey then entered free agency. He then signed a one year contact with the New York Islanders. The following year, in 2007, Kozlov signed as a free agent with the Washington Capitals.
