Rob Thomas, creator of the Veronica Mars television show, met with Kristen Bell to discuss the possibility of reprising her role of Veronica for the big screen. In February of 2009, Kristen Bell talked to MTV about the Veronica Mars movie, saying that Thomas was currently working on the first draft. Although she was not definitive about it being given a greenlight, Bell seemed optimistic.
