The March 4 Vermont primary allocated 15 pledged Democratic delegates and 17 Republican delegates. The state will additionally send 8 unpledged superdelegates to the 2008 Democratic Convention. Polls closed at 7:00 pm EST. Vermont holds an open primary, so voters do not need to declare a party affiliation and may vote for the candidate of their choice from either party.
